Lindsay is mostlyself-taught but her work reflects the experience she has had working alongside many talented sculptors. She enjoys experimenting with mixed media and is currently working with wire.  This medium has properties that excite her and ignite her creative ideas.

"I strive to capture movement in my animal work whilst encapsulating the subject's character.  My ultimate goal is to keep true to the characteristics of the material, striving to create fluidity and life in each piece."

Her human forms portray emotion in a contemporary manner.  They often start with a shape that is interesting and the emotion suggests itself as the piece develops; each piece is a journey in itself.

Although most of her work comes from commissions she has exhibited at:

Old Timbers Studio – Stewkley – 2009

Bucks Open Studios – 2010

Aim Gallery – Milton Keynes – 2010

Stani Gallery – Stony Stratford – 2010-2011

Bucks Open Studios – 2011

Rudolf Steiner School – Kings Langley

Oxford Sculptors Group – Claydon House

"I feel very excited about the future.  After many years bringing up a large family I now feel that the time is right to take my art further and hopefully make a living at doing something I love!"
